He was a great guy.
What impressed me most was how well he knew which routes to take so we would not get stopped by traffic lights. When I ran in Tokyo on my own, I had to stop at red lights over and over again, which was frustrating, but thanks to him this tour was genuinely smooth and enjoyable.
He also knew a lot about Japanese history and shared many fascinating stories with me.
He was knowledgeable and knew Tokyo very well. He was also a very experienced runner, and his advice about the Tokyo Marathon was incredibly helpful. If I get into the Tokyo Marathon, I’d love to come back to Tokyo and run with him again.
